| Driving Directions | Construction Update: Due to construction on Bryant Avenue, Hill Avenue is closed from Spring Avenue, west to Park Avenue. You can still access the Club from Rt. 53 and Spring Avenue or you can follow detour signs if coming from the north. An asphalt patch will be put into place June 24th, at which time the road will reopen. After July 4th, the road will be closed again for a few days so concrete can be laid as a permanent base.
The bridge to the east of the Club on Hill Avenue will possibly be permanently closed as of July 1st, 2010. The cities of Lombard and Glen Ellyn are negotiating the rebuilding of the bridge. See below for Hill Avenue Bridge Repairs and Weight Restrictions. | If you are using a GPS to navigate, you may follow those directions. The city will also raise money locally. Until the funds become available, the city is limiting the weight allowed on the bridge. (Click here for the press release regarding weight restrictions.) If the city engineer believes the bridge has deteriorated to the point of being dangerous, the city will close the bridge until the funds are available for repairs or replacement. | |
